If you have an idea for a novel but haven’t started it yet, why not have a go with National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)? In case you’re not familiar with it, it should really be called international etc, as thousands of people all around the world take part.
NaNoWriMo begins on 1st November, and you aim to write a novel of 50,000 words by the end of the month. You can upload it daily, or wait until the end of the month. It can be fun, and there are all sorts of activities surrounding it. It’s hard work, I’ve finished it twice, and there’s no doubt at all that it is a discipline to get you into the habit of writing. A few people have gone on later to edit their novels and have them printed. Some have been successful.
Why not give it a go? Just google it to find the web-site.
